        1. Most dogs enthusiatically lick your nose, mouth, everything they can reach in your face. Like puppies who lick the mouths of their mothers. It has an ick factor, but not for dog people, most of them love it. Maia has serious issues though, which we can handle, but her shows of affection need some getting used to. ๐Ÿ˜€
          My cat on the other hand purrs and purrs and purrs and then he bites.

          1. I’ve known cats like that too. Not very good at giving you the signal that it was time to stop one pet ago! I’m not a dog person, in part because of the drool/ick factor. Otherwise they’re mostly cute. ๐Ÿ˜‰

            1. He’s one of the sweetest cats I’ve ever known and only bites slightly, a short shove stops it. I knew a cat who really lost it when he got his tummy scratched he scratched with all four and bit deeply and firmly. Ouch.
